Blue-Green Algae Lake & Pond Management

There have been numerous reports about dogs mysteriously dying after swimming in ponds across the country. Investigators have discovered that the dogs had died due to toxic levels of blue-green algae in the water.

At Estate Management Services, we offer treatment for blue-green algae and other toxins so that you don’t have to worry about loved ones, pets or visitors encountering the deadly substance.

Identifying Blue-Green Algae

At Estate Management Services, our team of experts will work to identify exactly what is causing your pond or lake issues. While toxins can occur any time of the year, it is especially important to have your aquatic environment checked in the summer, or during warm months when blue-green algae blooms are more likely. Before risking the safety of a visitor, loved one or pet, call us to have one of our team members come out and inspect your water for blue-green algae. We have the ability to test for these harmful algae blooms through our lab services.

Treating Blue-Green Algae

Once blue-green algae or other harmful algae blooms are detected, we will first look at the cell density to determine whether treatment or further monitoring is needed. Then we will either use Seclear or Pak27 to treat the algae blooms and results are usually noticeable within 12 hours of treatment.

Why Estate Management Services?

At Estate Management Services, we have nearly 30 years of experience in the aquatics industry and work hard to ensure our team of experts are equipped with the best possible tools, products and training so that you can get back to enjoying your pond or lake safely.
