ESTATE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, Inc. provides mosquito and other biting insect control. Other insects include midges, gnats, horseflies and deerflies. Primary areas of interest are neighborhoods, individual yards, commercial sites, and golf courses.Treatments last approximately two weeks and are an excellent tool in controlling harmful and annoying biting insects. The pesticides we use are labeled and approved by the EPA and Department of Agriculture and are safe for humans and animals.
In addtion, the afore mentioned applications are performed by a liscensed technician. Our treatment methods range from areas as small as residential perimeters with pack sprayers to complete communities with ULV fogging systems (ie. county fog truck)

MOSQUITO 101
MOSQUITO LIFE CYCLE: 4 STAGES
STAGE 1: EGG
Eggs require 2 to 5 days of incubation, Females can lay between 100-150 eggs at a time. Some eggs may be viable for up to seven years.
STAGE 2: LARVAE
Require 3 to 7 days to complete development
STAGE 3: PUPAE
Do not feed, but bite. Require 1 to 2 days before adult develops
STAGE 4: ADULT
Male and female feed on plant juices. Females feed on blood. Require 3 days after blood meal to lay eggs. May live 2 weeks to 2 months

METHODS OF PREVENTION AND PROTECTION:
Stay indoors at dusk and dawn. • Wear light colored clothes, covering as much body as possible. • Apply repellent containing 30% DEET, do not apply to children • Keep yard cut back, Empty any container holding water • Unclog rain gutters.
