Captain XTR Algaecide
Captain XTR is an algaecide manufactured by SePRO. We use this product to treat several different species of algae, including:
- Microcystis
- Filamentous
- Starry stonewart
Captain XTR can also be used as an herbicide to treat certain submersed weed species that are susceptible to copper.
Application
Captain XTR can be applied through drip or sprinkler irrigation systems. It can also be combined with diquat and used for hydrilla control.
Restrictions
When used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, there are no restrictions on waters treated with Captain XTR. Water bodies receiving this treatment may be used for fishing, swimming, and irrigation both during and after application.
