Ensuring Proper Enviromental Procedures are Followed

Question: How do you ensure that proper environmental and discharge procedures are followed?

Answer: Power plants, I guess just like any other industry, must adhere to strict rules as far as what can be discharged from their processes into public waters. The rules under the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System, or NPDES, have to be followed or fines can be levied for any violation. A state can provide services to correct any biological issue that may be affecting monitored water quality parameters. We can perform chemical treatments, install mechanical devices and holding ponds to ensure that the water quality is maintained and that the water that is discharged by the entity is within the required limits. Entities that use holding ponds for, I guess, intake processes, can benefit as well from our services.
