Low Lake Water Level

Question: Why would the water level in my pond or lake be low?

Answer: During the summertime, the primary reason for a lake or pond being low is evaporation. Occasionally, we see that there are leak issues on dams or just leaching through the sub soil. And then sometimes, the design of the pond is intended for it to be low during certain times to encounter flood events.
