Pond or Lake Water Movement

Question: How can water movement affect a pond or lake?

Answer: “Water movement generally improves dissolved oxygen levels, as well as improvements to other elements in that water column. Water movement can be naturally created through either flow or, say, wind activity, thus improving the overall water condition. If these conditions don’t exist, we supplement the movement with fountains and aerators.”
