Removing Waterfowl from Stormwater Pond

Question: What can be done about waterfowl in my stormwater pond or lake?

Answer: Most of these birds are protected by federal law, so in some cases there’s not much that can be done. There are some federal agencies that are designed to trap or deter some of these waterfowl. You would want to contact your local Department of Natural Resources to kind of review what the possibilities are for removal.
