Answer: We do stock grass carp, triploid grass carp in the upper coastal region of South Carolina, and they are very effective, again, at weed control. They do not—the big misconception about grass carp is that they eat algae. They do not eat algae. They only eat organic submersed weed vegetation, or some floating vegitations, but they do not eat algae. But they are excellent weed eaters and we do stock them.
