Triploid Carp Stocking in Alabama and Mississippi

Question: Do you stock triploid carp in Alabama and Mississippi?

Answer: We do stock triploid carp in all situations. In certain states, including Alabama, you can stock either diploid or triploid. Most of the time we just deal, unless somebody specifically wants diploid, we deal with triploid 100% of the time just because there’s no problem with getting confused. We’re stocking in different states, we want to know if we’re legal anywhere we’re going. So we’re just carrying pretty much 100% triploid carp with us at all times.
