Use of Fountains in Mississippi and Alabama

Question: When are fountains used in ponds or lakes in Mississippi and Alabama?

Answer: In most situations, a fountain is used in a pond for aesthetic reasons. That’s 90% of the time. There are a few situations where we can use aerator fountains to actually aerate the water and create some movement as far as helping the water quality in a pond. But the primary use of an actual fountain is just for the visual aesthetics of it. But we do have some options where we can add aeration to it and those sort of things that actually help move the water and aerate the water. They don’t do as good a job as other methods for that, but you get a little bit of aeration and you get a lot of aesthetic also. So that kind of gives you a combo hit with a fountain.
