Use of Fountains in South Carolina Ponds and Lakes

Question: When are fountains used in ponds or lakes in the upper coastal region of South Carolina?

Answer: Fountains are used— primarily they’re used all the time. There’s not many pond environments that couldn’t—unless it’s excessively big—use a fountain in it, especially in residentials. Most of the time, you see fountains in HOAs or residentials; golf courses use them a lot, they’re dual feature fountains for aesthetics and for aeration. But they’re used all the time.
